Less ink. Less paper. Less waste — verified.

By 2030, every Gallus press program should leave the applications lab with a documented waste, ink and substrate control plan.

Gallus sustainability is operational rather than decorative. A label press can reduce waste only when the operator understands make-ready, color drift, register recovery, matrix handling, solvent choices and the tradeoffs between digital and flexo runs. Our work focuses on making those choices visible in the specification file before the equipment is installed.

Three commitments, audited yearly

Reduce ink and varnish waste

Drive make-ready discipline through closed-loop recipes, measured Delta-E targets and documented anilox selection.

Extend useful press life

Prioritize modular upgrades, station maintenance and spare-parts planning before replacement becomes the default answer.

Validate lower-impact substrates

Run paper, filmic and specialty stock trials that expose tension, drying and finishing assumptions before full production.
