Before you pick a press, define the job. I’m a quality/compliance manager in a label-converting plant. If your main task is printing variable data onto blank labels, stop comparing presses and solve the workflow first.

On most label printers you press the menu or settings key for three seconds, choose Network or Information, and print the page. It will show an address such as 192.168.1.50. On a touchscreen model, look under Settings, then Network, then TCP/IP.
